Sculpture on the Peninsula 2021
Asaki is delighted to have had work accepted for this year’s Sculpture on the Peninsula exhibition down on Banks Peninsula. It’s the biggest outdoor exhibition in the South Island and runs from November 5 to 7.
Fieldays No.8 Wire National Art Award win
Asaki has exhibited her work at the Fieldays exhibition since 2012, so it was a huge thrill to win first prize in the 2020 show with her Dali-inspired sculptural artwork entitled Space Cow. The work was selected by a blind-judging process from 28 finalists and it is now held in the Waikato Museum collection.
